We opened in March 2020 in the middle of Schillerkiez in the heart of Berlin - Neukölln.

Behind ilali is a group of 7 Berlin-based artists, musicians, and researchers.

Our projects cover a broad range of art, from drawing, sculpture, video, installation, poetry, jam sessions, to performance.

Ilali comes from isiXhosa and means "village".
