Facciolo's work resembles a diary of photographic entries. Mundane objects of urban life appear staged, as if positioned to get tangled up in narratives far from their own. Her camera clicks to capture the fleeting moment we perceive synchronicity; ever-present props of civilisation escape their humdrum existence and become a mirror of ours. Finally, Facciolo reassembles the analog traces of her journeys in the dark room. In tactile relationship with the tropes of her perception, she presents them in a sculptural installation.
